Can you have a stainless steel dishwasher with a white stove and frig?
I know you can but all of our appliances are over 8 years old. Our white dishwasher just went out and I want to change everything to stainless steel. My husband said we can just get the stainless steel dishwasher and replace everything else as they die out. Wouldn’t that look tacky?
Tacky is not the word to use, but it wouldn’t look right to mix appliances.
We replaced one major appliance a year, moving from white to stainless.
This mismatched appliances did look odd for two years, but it was so easy to tell guests, “hey, we’re switching over to stainless.” This almost always led to a fun conversation where they got excited for how great our kitchen was going to look.
And now it does look great! I love the stainless look, and they’re a cinch to keep clean once you find the right cleaner. I’d do this over again exactly the same way.
