How can I get noticed?

I am a freshman baseball player who achieves honors grades in all available honors classes and has natural talent on the baseball diamond. I would love to get my shot at division I baseball and the major leagues, however I have a few roadblocks. First off the school that I attend and play baseball at has never produced any players higher than triple A ball. Secondly there is almost no scouting in our small non-urban county, third I only have a few good weather months out of the year to play baseball. I would like to either find professional showcases or an established prep school at which to play, can I have some help on where to apply and how to get noticed at playing baseball living in a small east coast town like mine?

You said they pro9duced players at AAA ball..that’s good.

Going precisely by what you say…you have potential for an academic scholarship. I would focus on that…preparing to go to a major Div 1 school, playing baseball as a walk on. Or, accept a baseball scholarship,anywhere..it’s not only the top schools that are scouted.

As for a prep school, that’s between you and your parents.
